Join us to learn how to save, store, trade and use heirloom organic seeds! In this workshop we will learn about different kinds of vegetable, herb and flower seeds that grow well in our local area and how to obtain and store them for future use. We will also explore the seed’s role in the food system and the importance of preserving genetic diversity in food production for long term sustainability and growth. Attendees will take home locally adapted seeds potted on-site for propagation and some sweet seed saving skills! $5 registration fee
