Learn about grant funding available to put in practices that sequester carbon into working lands through CDFA’s Health Soils Program (HSP). Technical assistance workshops provide hands-on application assistance to help growers and grower representatives successfully apply to the HSP Incentives Program, which supports the implementation of conservation management practices to sequester carbon, reduce greenhouse gases and improve soil health. Supported practices include cover crops, compost addition, mulching, herbaceous wind barriers, filter strips, field borders, riparian herbaceous cover, hedgerows, and silvopasture. Please RSVP.
